Elena Padilla Garza

Elena Padilla completed her undergraduate education at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and her Dietetic Internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2022. Since then, she has joined the Sen-Monthé-Drèze lab, working with Dr. Lee and Dr. Sen to develop and implement the Mama Sana Program, a nutrition and lactation program tailored for Spanish-speaking women delivering at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. As of January 2024, she serves as a project manager for the Global AIM lab, where she supports grant applications and research projects such as LATCH. Elena also provides clinical support as a dietitian in the Growth and Development Clinic, helping families whose babies were discharged from the NICU. She is passionate about perinatal health and reducing language barriers in clinical care.
